Hi, I'm out for two years now. But I still feel lost. After 22 years in a cult, I'm "different" People notice this. I can't hide it. How did you find your way in "the world" after you left the cult? I Need advice.

Hi, AG.

Hi, I'm out for two years now. But I still feel lost. What you're feeling is the normal response to leaving an abnormal situation. After 22 years in a cult, I'm "different" People notice this. I can't hide it. Well 'different' isn't necessarily bad, and in your case 'different' can come to mean 'wiser'. It all will depend on where you go, and what you do, from this point forwards.

How did you find your way in "the world" after you left the cult? I Need advice. The 'world' itself is far from ideal (far from God's ideal, anyway), so I'm not sure there is a set-piece approach to 'finding one's way' therein. However, if you need advice on: (1) how to make sense of your Revivalist experience; (2) how to discern God's will; and, (3) how to move forwards in life with the real God at the centre, then you've come to the right place.

God bless,

Ian
