I started seeing through that garbage when I was young.... even younger than this (story)who were these ning nongs in charge of me? -I remember getting pulled over by Judy Wa***n-***th,in the Forum, at the age of 11 because my sunday school attendence was inconsistant. WhenIexplained to her that it wasbecause I was, by order of law, required tobe at my father's house every second weekend, she told me that this was not good enough and things would have to improve.anyways, the rest later-Love to all.Oh yeah, at the end of my journey I got to tell Ps. Simon 2 things:-1/ "if the root of the tree is rotten, then of course it's branches will be too".(that fooliosaid "I AM NOT YOUR SHEPARD!!"when Iquestioned him on why he didn't attend his flock when they were wounded). And2/ that I pay his wages (thithes) and that he better respect my authorit-tie, then I quickly hanged the phone up hehe! That was it.

Interesting how Simon was not your shepherd. Have a read of Ezekial 34. Interesting eh? Also I seem to recall the good shepherd leaving the 99 sheep to go after the one who strayed. Wonder what 'church' that was in. Not RC, thats for sure!!

well, like his dad, when there was some resistance, the guy became really unchristian and personal. he would have been talking about flayva in particular, as if 'i'm not YOUR shephard (anymore)'. i think.

i was a bit uncomfortable about the shephard thing as it was blatantly calling the congregation sheep. it also gave the oversight more power over them.

the conversation i had with my house leader, in which i told him i would be going to the 'b-team' to be with my mum (in their house meetings at our house it was metioned that family was more important than church)was the most eye-opening i ever had.

this guy was was pretty cool for someone brought up in the church and was close to simon, but seemed to be loosing his coolness as he climbed the church's power-ladder, as they all do.

anyway, he tried to explain to me that the people are like sheep and that the different churches represent different paddocks. he said that the higher you build the fences around them, the safer the people felt and this included stricter rules.

this made a deep impression on me and gave me some insight into how the leaders of the church saw the church in comparison to the congregation. as did the way the oversight were told to carry a 'poker face' when in the presence of the people. it wasn't the 'common union' that jeshua ben yousef (jesus) had tried to establish.

it was clear that the humble people of the church were being molly-coddled away from a higher truth - how the church looked to everyone except those deeply in it at the 'general admission' level - the sheep.

i must say, though, that i feel sorry for extreme members and leaders alike, as they are brainwashed themselves, by themselves. this seems to be the nature of belief. i did it to myself while i was there. sometimes i feel like they are not completely evil and this might even be the only way they can help innocent people who can't accept the real 'corrupt' world. i must admit, it's been a long road for me, from a lamb to what i am, and being able to comprehend all the crazy stuff that does go on.

on the other hand, maybe it would have been easier to accept if we weren't so severly sheltered from it. maybe it's true that we all have a devil inside. all the crap in the world is carried out by members of our own species.

on that note, i welcome you flayva. i am a new member myself and i must say be careful of your identity or the use of names from the revival places as i hear they know some big wigs and masons and satan himself, who can probably track you by your IP address under the patriot act.

the 'revivolution with not be forumised' unless our master (revenge) plan is discovered prematurely.

disclaimer: there is no conspiracy going on to destroy the revival churches

if it gives you joy, enjoy! life aint pretty without it

what no conspiracy to destroy? why not? anyway who needs conspiracies. thats the way revivals work, not ppl like me. i always liked the full on stab u in the front routine which was why they hated me. I like to see the whites of someones eyes when i am telling the truth and they are not. i am strange like that. frankly i just hate the scum in oversight. nasty little big fish in a small ocean.
