I have deleted my last post due to it offending a brother on here.

If we deleted posts everytime that someone here was offended, then there wouldn't be a forum! Something to consider :)

Sorry, I tried to put a smiley face at the end of my comment but it didnt work. I was teasing you and not offended. Thats why I wrote it was based on fact. Tongue in cheek. I thought it was pretty funny what you posted.

Hi Ralph, the very nature of this site makes it near impossible to post anything that somene will not find offensive so I wouldn't worry too much about it. There are people that get on here that find our lord Jesus offensive! I personally think its great that you tried to add a touch of humour, and it can break down barriers in my opinion. As Christians, or for any religion, politics are connected to some extent. Our reigious freedom is in their hands and unlike in the past in this country, it is now under threat.

I always find your contributions on here excellent. Please keep up the good work.

Rob, thanks for your support, it means a lot.
I think your right, Christianity, as you and I take it, is definitely under threat. Not only by Pollies, Muslim and other religions, but even within a lot of 'Christian' circles as well. We find it's influence reflected in society and the world. It makes one wonder sometimes whether things are really in God's hand. But then we are told it is he that causes everything to happen.
