Now here's a subject close to my heart - I'm a bit of a TV junkie. I don't get to watch nearly as much as I'd like and I'm grateful that I can't afford to get Foxtel because I doubt I'd ever leave the house, but huzzah for the geniuses who came up with the idea of releasing TV shows on DVD - that's where I've discovered some real gems that were either not shown on free-to-air or were messed around so much by the commercial networks that I couldn't get into them. In no particular order here's some of my favourite shows:Arrested DevelopmentCurb Your EnthusiasmFuturamaThe SimpsonsLaw & Order: SVUWithout A TraceThe Chaser's War On Everything& my secret shame is McLeod's Daughters (ah it felt good to get that off my chest)There's a lot of tedious inane rubbish out there but there's a lot of good stuff to be found too... what do you like to watch?

Hey Wooty, you have excellent taste in television. I recently discovered how to download torrents so I"ve been watching all the tv I've missed episodes of.

I've also discovered quicksilverscreen.com and have been streaming latest release cinema movies from my PC to the loungeroom LCD TV. Last week we watched 300 and Ninja Turtles. The price we saved from having to go to the cinema has pretty much paid for the broadband. Incredibly cool!

My fave TV shows... in order but not genre order:

  1. Curb Your Enthusiasm (of course... bought the whole series on DVD)
  2. The Office (American and US versions... don't knock the U.S. version)
  3. Angel & Buffy (ok, no longer on, but still deserves my utter respect)
  4. Prison Break
  5. Futurama
  6. 24
  7. The Simpsons
  8. Family Guy
  9. Medium
  10. The Chaser's war
  11. Southpark
  12. Heroes
  13. LOST
