Hope N Hollins listens to the international news and learns a big lesson from the abduction of Madeleine McCann at a Portuguese resort last week. Her parents did what hundreds of GRCers and others have done for years. Dined with friends 40 mts away from the childrens bed. Yes Noel Hollins, children do get abducted. The Ocean Grove marquee is more than 40mts away from alot of camp sites. It's a practice within the GRC that alot of parents are most uncomfortable with but would be told they had no trust in the Lord if they took their babies or tots into the marquee every night and bedded them down on a sleeping bag.

What a  Touchy  topic, and a pet hate.  Same old story ....  they confuse  " faith with wisdom "  .... " don't you trust the Lord ? "  etc.  etc .. .

" But we are saved from this world "  , " we have the Spirit  "  etc  . etc ....

We / I could go on and on with these well worn cliche`s but the fact of the matter is , that although we are filled with the Spirit, walk in the Spirit etc . etc ....   and  it may well be true , but they forget that our bodies are mortal and all flesh is subject to this mortal world  - No matter how spiritual you are . This is why we can fall stricken to even little things such as the common cold. Now , if we do fall victim to illness, then it is the Blessing of the Lord that can heal and raise us up again..but it doesn't exclude us.

......  but  I digress....    this wonderful faith,  although is good , it also is terribly mis-guided.  We all know and understand that you  NEVER  place your child or any child or even a person, for that matter , in jeopardy or potential danger . It is terribly irresponsible to do so and the Ocean Grove Camp is a prime example of Noel Hollins folly...... his teachings and  bastardry  of God's wonderful Word  , reveals the stupidity  of me / us and others , to follow so blindly , this man , who has a potential   " Jonestown  " awaiting to happen.  Oh God -forgive that if this could ever happen !.

So in this world of good and evil , anything can happen and only the wise don't put themselves into potentially situations... so lets all be vigilant     .....  and keep telling  /  warning these mis- guided people !

" Those are my principles and if you don"t like them, I do have others" Come-On ! always tell the truth motmot

I don't believe that there a lot of dingos to eat your baby around the camp site but one year there was a fire. We all grabbed the bucks of water and ran towards towards the neighbour's fence as it would seem that the teenager had had enough of the sing songs late at night and tossed a match over into the dry grass.

Sure the cult members are human but they believe that god will protect them no matter what. You just have to look at the record to see that he is not doing a very good job of that. Starting with the cult leaders wife.
"Until the philosophy that holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned, then everywhere is war"

I"ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I"ve never seen anything to make me believe there"s one all-powerful force controlling everything. There"s no mystical energy field controls my destiny.?

If there is a God I don"t like him

I remember as a kid I was terrified when I had to go to bed after the skits and items, how I use to lay there in my sleeping bag scared to death, praying that I would soon "recieve" and all would be alright because then I could stay up and go to the meetings.  I also remember how I loved new years eve and the other special occassions when there was a camp supper, because then I was also aloud to stay up.

To y.n.m.
Reading your post here, makes my heart ache so much, to know for so many years, this dreadful man called "Noel H." HAS deluded so many souls into this false way of living our lives.( Having to sit out all those meetings, rugged up in the cold at camp, put to bed early, and to follow this lfe you had to follow and so on.)
Now after all these years, young children that have grown up in this false sense of living ,not knowing any better, they just haven't had the chance to grow up in the normal way that children in the "world" do.
They have been going to meeting with their parents, with all N.H.H.'S SCREWED UP doctrines, listening to this, knowing this is how it has to be.What a delusion to them and a waste of precious time and years having this sort of life impressed onto them. And to then find out as they were growing up and having minds of there own that are maturing, are seeing the disappointment that their parents and the G.R.C. HAVE LED THEM INTO.That this is not the way for them.
Not all siblings have found this to be. A lot of generations have multiplied within the cult, because of the security it appears to bring. And to keep the family intact, and won't or feel they don't need to look outside the "square" But the souls like y.n.m. that have to find out how to learn how to survive in the real world, must have been a HUGE turn around and a massive culture shock. So my friend I can understand why you don't want to know "A GOD" anymore.
But BOY I bet you feel your life is now the way it should be in our journey in life. And you are FREE, FREE, FREE,
"NOEL HOLLINS" You are going to pay for all the "DELUSION" you have caused over so many years.

GOD BLESS ALL YOU YOUNG (and now not so young) PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN BROUGHT UP IN THAT "CULT" ENVIRONMENT AND MADE YOUR OWN PERSONAL STAND TO LIVE YOUR LIVES THE WAY YOU CHOOSE TO DO.

AMEN.

Let"s Fly Away.
