No comments on this?
I'm losing my audience, it seems. Was it offensive to use Jesus' image, even though I'm pretty sure he wasn't as pretty and Caucasian white as that? I mean, it's not like using Mohammad's image.

"Thus saith the lord". Revivalists (yes, that includes you Tony), consider it an animated gift of 'prophesy'.

Mothy,

I thought video ok, the message is there.

It seems to me people want to hear more about what happened to ‘Joe-Blow’ etc and relate to ones own situation, which is a sort of healing process I suppose.

Out of all the people that have been effected one way or another by these groups I find there are very few that seem concerned ( or may I say, ‘fear’) whether it matters or not about the scriptural position;. The percentage of those that come out of Revival and go on “In the Lord”  is small compared to those that reject the Gospel completely and those that are confused or don’t want to be bothered anymore.

Again, well done.

I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C.S.Lewis.

Well, thanks for that forced pat on the head in response to what was mainly tongue-in-cheek. :P

I had the Jesus character available and had to do something with it.

I think the animated digs at Revival are a bit passe now, and that's coming from me!

Mothy they may be a "bit passe" to us 'old hands' and yet I still chuckle at the one that satirizes the operation of the Spiritual Gifts ... that Mothy is YOUR masterpiece ....

So do keep them there available as there is still plenty of mileage of rev heads out there who need to see them.

I better add my forced response.lol
Personally I didn't find it offensive, but very well thought out. Its also pretty much how I think Jesus would view the rev centres. So well done!

This forum is pretty hilarious without my animations, but as if I'd get rid of them - lol.

Hi Moth,

I was distracted by a late night (for me) UK phone call when you posted your latest animation and didn't comment on it as I had intended to.  Anyway better late than never so here goes.  Many a true word is said in animation. I thought the following appropriate :-

"....the tongues doctrine that has separated you from my body..."  and "...you need to have some trust in me and not your leaders..."

That nutty leader with his Pyramid, Numerics, BI Lion and Unicorn stuff make all the rest a bit nutty.  I was reading a quite recent book by one of the  leaders which is full of the stuff.

David,

Your friends and acquaintances hang out on the ex-GRC Facebook page, or at Tony Barton's respective forae. Consequently, you won't find many of them 'chewing the fat' here :)
