Thanks Ian, just got your message. God bless.

All,

My bout in hospital this time, opened my eyes to the view of the Revivalist about healing (seeking a sign) and the hand of God really at work, in my own situation and that of others, that takes place there.

It really is a different world.

Having the privilege of Rev Rosemary the Anglican hospital Chaplain as a friend, I am able to see first hand the work they do and how people react to the undesired situation, whatever it may be, minor or tragic, in their lives.
I find most people that come and go, seem willing to open up to their problems and their views about God and genuinely want to know and understand him.

We have a brief worship and communion service on Sundays in the small 'worship' room and I find it exhilarating to see people, up to a dozen at times attend there and haven't been to a church for years, afterward leave with a special peace and comfort within. A really good place of opportunity to gain 'converts'

When one has the eyes to see that it is 'God who has his hand in the healing, whether direct intervention, the body's own self mechanism or by the hand of the surgeon, it is the same Spirit that heals (Milne)' and even if it comes to "falling asleep" there is comfort to the believer, 'peaceful bliss' through Jesus by the same Spirit.

Grace and peace
