This must be Canberra's new motto:WE NOW HAVE NEW MINISTRY, EVERYBODY IS HAVING THEIR PROBLEMS DEALT WITH, AND WE ARE ALL HAPPY!This is what has been said to me by 3 separate members in the past 12mths.Who are thay trying to fool !!!!!!!!!I guess at least 10 people have dealt with their problems: THEY LEFT THE ASSEMBLYSo what about the rest, are they happy, or just pretending
Oh my goodness I've heard that same song sang somewhere else, I think that every assembly sings it at one point, it's so sad that it's funny. People in there are just so foolish, they choose to be oppressed. Oh well if that's what they want , more power to them. As for me I choose life.

Is it true that the Keys and the Hattens from Canberra have left? It really seems like soooo many ppl are leaving of late.

Funny, a guy from India named Ryan Lazaro, who was baptized in India, was allowed to move to Canberra but Hattens were not allowed to move to Geelong. While in India, Lazaros were financially well to do off, i wonder has it got some thing to do..

From what ive heard his ministry wasnt too good. even in india he wasnt very respected.
I know that things were going on in canberra to do with his son that have never been revealed and the other ppl involved blame it on bad ministry - its crap - they need to take responsibility for their actions - if the ministry was that bad then just leave!!!!!!
Ppl in the assemblies are so quick to blame everyone else for their actions!!

This excuse that Ryan had applied to go to Australia before he was saved, is completely ridiculous. I was saved in Australia and still was not allowed to return to Australia. I was pushed to Bombay against my will, I had to stay there in slums and had to face prostitutes every evening on my way back home from work (a filthy place to live). Had to sleep without meal as I could not afford a meal, just because Noel wanted an Indian in Bombay to do his work, as Reg was expensive to keep there. I was not allowed to even think to return to Australia. When I wrote to pastor Les shurmer in Launceston (I was saved in Launceston) to allow me to return, he wrote back to me that if I returned I will let Reg down, because Reg had given up all for the Indian people, and I must stay back and support Reg. Noel and Reg told me if I returned I will be put out of fellowship for ever - never to be allowed back.
As it stands today, neither Reg is there nor me. So it proves what Noel and Les shurmer wanted was not the will of God. I think this so called great men of God still needs to read that scripture which says one volunteer is better than 10 forced men.
It does not end there, I know there were atleast 3 men in SriLanka who were forced to stay there against their will. These men were saved in Australia but were not allowed to return.

been ages since I posted here (Hi all) but when I was invloved David Fullford was the pastor there , I wonder where he is now ?
As far as I know Fullford handed over his ministy to Reg in Canberra and went to Manila to minister. Along with ministry Fullford also gave(sold) his house to Reg at much lower than the market value. Today, Reg have neither the ministry nor the house. Interestingly Reg sold his canberra house (Fullfords old house) with a lot of profit, I wonder what Fullford thinks about it. Reg is used to having things at others expenses.
May be readers here might not understand why I am bringing this here. But think about this same Reg, when he decided to leave India he sold his 21inch five year old tv to an assembly member for Rupees 13,000 when a brand new tv could be bought for Rupees 9,000. I asked the buyer why did she pay such a lot of money, she said because pastor reg told not to bargain with him.

Ryan Lazaro wasn't the only one that was given 'permission' to move to another assembly. There was C from Croydon who moved many years ago to Launie where her daughter and family were going (don't know of the official reason for that move). Also T.O.'s wife moved from Croydon to Launceston too, after his death. There are probably others as well. N.H.'s daughter-in-law's mother is another one that comes to mind (she has double influence as her other daughter is also married to a pastor's son - is that like having two aces?). Must depend on your ranking or how many will 'leave' if you get too upset!!

Ena Veenman was also able to move down to Geelong to be near her daughters. But what if her son and his wife wanted to move down to Geelong to be near his sisters you can imagine what the answer would be, a big fat no! Yes B Griggs detested Ena and couldnt wait to part with her. He was rejoicing when she left.

Well I say good on you for making a stand instead of being bullied into something that will eventually affect your life not the ministry's. You have to wonder why they are letting people who want to be saved just leave and then they get up the front and say the only reason we are here is to preach the word and bring in new souls, but they wont care for the souls they already have! I have always likened it to having a few children, abusing them and tossing them out of their family home and then applying for adoption and telling people you just love children so much you want more!!! Sound sick, just as sick as what the ministry is doing.

yes i think i agree with you as it shouldnt matter where you live, as if you love the Lord then you would probably travel. but, since your move to geelong how many times has your wife been to meetings in melb? and honestly did you really think you would travel 2 times a week to melb for meetings after awhile? truthfully now! if it was me i know the intentions would be there to travel but then the thort of that hr travel there and back would start to sway my intentions. so surfs up, in this case you bought it all upon yourself.

ok, i thought mrs veenman moved to glg as she wasnt too well? if this is true then there is no way BG would let her son look after her is there!!!! i mean if T.H or Mrs I. werent allowed to be taken care of during there illnesses by family members then how the hell was she sposed to be looked after. oh and if her son wanted to move down here they could now and have been able to for the last how many years!!!!

the lady that has 2 daughters married to pastors sons, was part of the england assemblies and when the fiasco happened in their family she i think was asked if she wanted to stay in england or return to australia? but as she had the children at home then she chose to stay there and decided after her son left to move out here to oz(i think). mr and mrs Sq moved back to glg, mr and mrs K moved back after i dont know what, mr and mrs Sl moved back, lets go back further mr and mrs B all back from england and im sure there are plenty more thats related to some type of problem or other where its a single person move back or married couple or whole family.
but my point i shall ,make here is the fact that older people shoild be allowed to move to where their children are so that they can help them if ill or just plain frail, i mean NHH has live in housekeepers that do everythin for him and we dont knock that do we! i mean is T.M allowed in the house if J is workin and only NHH home?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

My point was how can you put people out of fellowship if its not scriptural? is it a sin to be happy in your natural life as well as your spiritual, and as for the travelling bit' I worked in melbourne 6 days a week for a year, didnt bother me driving down and I still work in melbourne on a regular basis, as for brought it upon myself, I did, and it opened my eyes to the hypocricy.

Hi surfs up [Z], has this caused any strain on your marriage? I'm just curious and not making any allegations against you. I just know it would be hard on you as I know the people in Avondale Heights are huge on gossip and trying to "help help those in danger of losing vision". I've seen that it's worse than Geelong when it comes to busy little bodies wanting to be in the middle of everything, good or bad. They're a family (vomit). I used to have a bit to do with someone there untill they "backslid".

No strain at all, I'm quiet happy for my wife to go along to the GRC if it makes here happy, as for the gossips, who cares, we all make our own choices in life and hopfully they work.

Well that's good news for your family, I'm sure it will all work out just fine. I do miss catching up with you, When I have caught up with your wife she seemed very guarded even though the topic of you never came up. I'm glad that your'e happy. I have asked after you from others and there never seems to be any news of anything to do with you just how many meetings your family have missed (like it concerns me), so I don't ask about you anymore.
As for the wanker paying me out, you suck, there are reasons people go to grc & feel trapped for the time being.

Noels explanation was even more bizzar, he called me a backslider and said smoking is not in the bible so we dont encourage that either, thought these pastors were here to show us where we have gone wrong through the word of god, and not some mans thoughts on what they think is gods will, when I asked them about the other people that have moved assemblies I was told that they were different suituations to

Wanker! thats pretty strong terminology coming from someone still attending the meetings. Then again attending meetings and salvation are miles apart.

You bet. Some of actually do have something more to lose than "salvation". Yep, I'm a seat warmer. Say what you like, I really don't care, water of a ducks back. Just like sitting in the hall planing my week, reminising on good times, anything to kill the boredom. Anything that you say I will treat the same ways as NH's threats, strait over my head.

It is Z storm rider, guess I gave away too much info on my posts but I dont realy care who knows, next time you see me at 13th come and say hello, I just might know you. As for the post anon, my wife is guarded because most assembly people go running of to the pastor and spill the beans on all they hear, better to say nothing than to constantly be looking over your shoulder.

I completely understand her situation. People can make a big thing over nothing and they especially love to dob on nothing. I'm not like the majority, but she would'nt know who is and who isn't so it's best for her to be safe rather than sorry. I did guess that that's probably all it was and I just felt for her, I know how she feels.

Yeah, it was so shocking and disgusting... I'm still shaking a week after reading it! - RELAX a little... diarrhoea is a natural and cleansing action. Spelling it correctly is truly a feat. Using it as a graphic and disturbing metaphor is crass but effective.
It's funny. You are so horrified and offended by it but you're giving it more attention by pointing to it again in this thread? The best way to promote something is to complain about it publicly. Why do you think the Davinci Code reached the heights it has? You may be offended by this post too.. please don't be... it's just an observation. Excuse me before you go accusing people of things get your facts straight, if you had read it properly you would realize that it was not me that posted that, I was having a go at the poster who wrote that because of their spelling. My post read "that's the strangest way I have seen diarrhoea spelt" I was not the one that posted the thing you are talking about. That is not my style and I would appreciate it if you would not accuse me on this forum of posting things that someone else has put up here.
