$%*'`[hiptidoda]%*'`@i lived in fear of this for years and even when life happened i felt i was being punished.It took years to realise......the lord is not the author of fear and torment..... this side of heaven we live under GRACE (jesus)not JUDGEMENT (GRC).....if your friends leave you they wernt your friends anyway.....where was i in my head thinking i needed a place like the rc......that i had issues in my own life that lead me to the whole exclsive church like experience where everything is black/white......the lord never left me when i left ...ther are many other things but others may want to contribute

Its a shame that your post (last year) has not attracted a response so far! (If you are still around) I reckon your question was a very good one!

A question that almost all of us would have asked ourselves many times whilst in those organisations.

The simple answer is YES!...........

Bad stuff will happen, good stuff too, just as it is while living within the assembly's regime!

"The sun shineth upon the good and the wicked" and upon all of mankind. I reckon you've already worked that out. We really are the creators of our own destiny, in my opinion. Yet there can also be a level of inexpliccable 'luck (whatever that is) or poor fortune that befalls individuals. The bottom line is,

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONFORMING TO THE DICTATES OF SOME CULT.

Good response Dog... I couldn't help thinking of both the good and bad things that have happened in my life both IN the Church and OUT. I would have to say that now... I think some of the things Im going through are probably a lot worse than when I was in the church.. but ...thats not to say that I was more 'blessed' because I was in there. It just that life takes different turns. It would still be the same I think if I WAS there. IE: BIG troubles with teenagers.. but I handle things a lot better than when I did in the church. For many reasons... one: Ive got strong support from my partner.. and two: I can deal with matters MY way... not the Churches way. So... yes.. good and bad happens to those inside and outside churches. " Rain falleth upon the just and the unjust".. ( Thats if we, according to the bible, are the unjust! lol! ) I guess we have been programmed to think that when we leave these organizations, life gets '7 times worse' for us and we have this incredible fear when we leave. That takes a bit of letting go of until we think of things logically and compare both peoples lives IN and OUT. They are much of a sameness really!
I just read that all back to myself... does that make any bloody sense at all???? Hahahahahaha! Im getting tired so sorry if its a bit cryptic!!

Yes that does make sense,very well covered. Life is a journey of many ups and downs but that again is life.

Living is a life time of learning

A creation of a lot of learning, and growing in the real world of freedom.

WOW...Can be very UNDULATING, very exciting, all the hard parts of life is the learning stages.Look at the big paddock we are in out here. FAR BETTER THAN THE CONFINED LIFE within the G.R.C.

$%*'`[hiptidoda]%*'`@thanks for the replies...actually first time i have been here in months maybe 5 ...the whole place doesnt relly affect me alot now ,,,i have taken the power back that i let let them take from me ... i even wrote to one of them recently and told them how much fear i felt after they gave me all that dog vomit shit and fear factor shit ,,,fuck them...and then i said i forgive them which is true...remember life is a great levellor and it comes to us all...one day it is like the big black dog from hell comes and sits on your head and you cant escape you gotta face it ,,the realities of all that crap in your head ..i never knew wot was real or not real,,, i had given those pricks contrl over my head and years after i left i devloped what is called a post traumatic stress disorder and along with this condition called chronic fatigue after glandular fever i felt fucked for cver 20 years...i yhought i was being punished for ieaving that place...it all becomes very real...fear guilt punishment ...the fear was going to paranoia and i was starting to attack myself(emotionally) becausew i thought if i beat myself up enough the lord woulnt...i didnt even know what i had done wrong but i had so much inner anger.....anyway i still love the lord now...i dont know why but i do... i am in in love with a non christian girl and dont really care..she has seen me with all my shit and she still loves me...the best thing i dont get any tacky ...just pray about or fast about itstuff....the even better thing is i got help professionanally for the post tramatic shit and my health prblem has been diagnosed as a weak trhyroid ..it has taken 25 years...i am not kidding ,,,i have fought this thing for that long...the thing with post traumatic is you are still waiting for the next fuck -up to come along and you relive the fear in ya head all the time ...so much you get what is called self blame and self guilt you think you deserve the shit they lay on and the feelings of chronic fatigue..
looking back onit we all analyse ourselves way too much and think god looks and is critical of everything we do...instead of just getting on withit we are at ourslves about why things arent as they should be(should is a dangerous word)..We have been fed a twisted lie .God loves us and looks at us with a smile ...this side of heaven we live under grace...the way the revival center indoctrinates you is there is a price for grace and that is price is a distorted view of  self...good things happen because you have been good ....if you cant get healed you are doing something not right...in an extreme view you can control outcomes by being a certain way...getting friends saved,,,making money,,,finding a wife ,,,it is about you doing and not what christ has done...another opinion i have is those still under that sort of regime need the control...the rigid boundaries in there lifes,,,,honestly most really dont have much else giong on in there lives...sad but true...they are part of an exclusive nothingless ..they have got the christ bit right but the rest O...all of us before the lord have christ plus 0 and thats a big0.nil nothing..for some reason they think they have morethan that....be honest how the hell would most of them cope is they didnt have the church.. they honestly think the lord looks at them with a bigger smile and yes they even have scriptures to back it up..ohhh im getting scared again,,,anyway i might add more latr regards hiptidoda

Best metaphor I've read in ages... that's what I'm talkin' bout! The big black karma dog cometh. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you and that crap, umm unless you're a sadist and you actually enjoy being whipped and stuff. Don't do that unto others... unless they want you to... each to their own I say. 
Great post man, you seem to have had an epiphany! There was a lot of sense and clarity in there - loved it... good use of the word 'fuck' too - it's very liberating to be able to use the forbidden words.
