Date Posted:25/02/2010 6:40 AMCopy HTML FACEBOOK!
There's starting to be a hive of activity in the ex-RCI group. It's social and not up for theological debate, or nasty stuff. It's moderated by Troy and myself, so there won't be any Luke-like people allowed in... I doubt Ian would be allowed in either, but I'm more than certain that he wouldn't want 'in'. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=17707850966&ref=nf The copyrite 'free' image for the group: Instagram and Twitter: @mothpete

I just don't get Facebook. I had a look at the site, and it seems to be a site for chicks. Or for blokes who wish they were chicks! Blessings, Ian email: didaktikon@gmail.com

Re:Facebook - I was once a member of the Revival Centres International Date Posted:15/03/2010 10:52 AMCopy HTML Reply to Didaktikon Yes, yes, yes. You can make insulting comments about others but 'pity the fool' who has a go at you. You are a bully. Plain and simple. You belittle others when they reject your so-called authority. You dress in the robes of a Scribe and a Pharisee and bully people around with this false authority you have taken upon yourself. And yet, your religion has no more reality to it than that of the Revivalists, crystals or spiritualism. Just because it is old doesn't mean it is true. You talk of objectivity but in the end, you have ONLY faith and that makes your religion no more real than Islam or Hinduism. All your scholarly Apologetic is simply an attempt to disguise the fact that deep down, you have nothing. You may have fooled your disciples, but you haven't fooled me. You are a nobody. You know it and I know it. You seek to puff yourself up with your knowledge of a religious text but that's all it is...knowledge of a religious text. You are a religious bigot, and a very mean and insulting one at that. Yes, you will come back at me with some diatribe that seeks to denigrate me, and much more importantly, elevate you to the status that you think befits the modern Scribe or Pharisee that you are, but in the end Ian, you are a nobody. So yes Ian, fuck you. Fuck you, fuck your useless bloody Master's degree, and fuck all you have done to ruin this forum for those who needed help but only found you...a Revivalist in Evangelical clothing. |

Re:Facebook - I was once a member of the Revival Centres International Date Posted:15/03/2010 11:53 AMCopy HTML Troy,
Far be it from me to parrot you and make with the baseless insults, bud. I've know you for what? About 12 years? During that time, every time that you've been chided for your immaturity, and by whomever, you've immediately returned volley with the same old hostility, the same old name-calling, the same old blame-shifting, and the same old ignorant insults. It's not only tired, it's actually quite lame. We both know only too well that in our interactions over the years, you could never sustain an argument on fact and merit alone. In closing I'm more than happy to admit that whatever authority I possess to pontificate as I do is fully derivative, and is in no way intrinsic. However, I do find it ironic that in your latest announcing of what a significant 'nobody' you believe me to be, you're forced to ignore the fact that you've deferred to me here, and referred to me here, as an authority to be quoted and appealed to on the subject of Scripture and Christian theology. I guess an education is a valuable thing after all. Chook. Ian email: didaktikon@gmail.com

I don't do innuendo, I do honesty. Try it some time, you just may find it liberating. I've just read that little blog you pointed us to. I have a serious question: why is it that you define your life, and have done so for as long as I've known you, by your failures? Ian email: didaktikon@gmail.com

Perhaps what I should have said "Is that the best you can do, i.e. to show people where they might be heading?" I don't think pointing out typos' would show there is good news and a "hope" for believers. God is the answer. |
