Isn't it so so amusing when you would go to any one of the Christmas Camps and would see the "Pastors" all gathered together on the platform like you would see the Presidents men or the representives of the UN. The pastor in the Sydney assembly was out  of work for about a year and didn't want NHH to know(bad example and all that)..meanwhile his wife had to go out to work so they could keep their huge house and not have to sell it and 'downgrade',more coverups and trying to appear as something you are not,in otherwords hypocrisy!

I neglected to mention that some of them were school teachers, that says it all doesnt it. Just remember GRCers and those from the other oppressed assemblies, if your pastor is trying to give you advice on life matters or things that are not spiritual related, imagine the local cleaner at your child's school or the guy that mows your lawns or  lays your vinyl, would you ever allow him to control your life and tell you where you can live or whether you are allowed to go away for the weekend. I think the answer would be a big fat NO.

yes most of what your saying is so true. Pastar Morton gave up truck driving many years ago and for about the last 15 years the assembly paid his wage, and paid his house  off up in  New Cas,
Davie Fulford i think was a bit more than a mail sorter, he had a very good job within the Goverment before he left.
But all the rest ,

You forgot to mention that his daughter is a pro golfer, Im sure the winnings will help all of them; I guess its better that they get their  money from that rather than from the sheep,

Ganly has not worked for 20 years he has sat back and wasted the tithe money and put the Avondale Heights assembly in a mountain of debt.I don't think he is the kind of person I would ask for advise,plus he tells his family everything that is told to him........But he is happy in his Fairy Tale World with other people paying his bills for him......Glue your wallets shut !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

 
You fail to mention that some of the Pastors are qualified professionals but due to their reomote posts have to source whatever employment that they can.  Lets not generalize.
Get ya facts right.

Hmmm professionals huh and who would that be??? the only 'professional' I know is the pastor of the bendigo assembly he's a school teacher,other than that all the details mentioned about the other pastors has been correct..you should take your own advice And 'not generalise'.
As for the unemployed women,what a load of garbage..yes that's what Noel would like us to be,unemployed and doing needlecraft or maybe spinning some wool by the fire,darning our husbands socks like a diligent little wife....ALL CRAP!..most of the women I know that have left the GRC have gone onto have successful careers and work full time jobs.Get your facts straight GRC boy.

Geeee !   Do you have a case of the  "jimmy brits".......or don't you like it when you realize that we do have a wonderfull and usefull life to which we run totally of our own free-will.
I do feel sorry for anyone under Noel's control and even though you may have  " bagged " us , if in the future you find yourself  " on the outer"...please feel free to ask  for help . That's what we are here for.  Attacks at Noel and  the GRC or only co-incidental, your soul , health and mental state ,caused by this spiritual abuse from this toxic faith are more paramount  than any form of revenge..   although it does taste good.

Well guess away because I am none of those that you mention. But I bet you are one of those fakes that calls himself a pastor or herself a pastors wife. And I normally dont over generalise but in the case of the pastors I will make allowances. I dont know of ONE pastor that isnt power hungry and despotic. But hey they get their wonderful example from the despot himself NHH.

J Griggs, B Griggs wife said at Colo River camp one year when she couldn't find a spot for her and her 4 sons to sit during communion. I quote:
If the head honchos wife can't get a seat there's something wrong.
I actually thought the oversight were meant to be our servants! Where do the wives come into it. Remember people, we will be now having an item from the pastor's wives. Please I am being sick already.

Are you defending these pastors???? If you are, you have obviously never suffered at their hands and could possibly be one of them. They are not blamless, let me tell you clearly they will face their maker like all of us, but unlike most of us they will answer for not just their own souls but others as well. And let me tell you this also for the likes of B Griggs, B Addison T Addison C Warren etc etc it would be better for all of them that a millstone be put around their neck and cast into the sea. And that is what the word of God would say about harming any one of his little ones.

$%*'`[Anonymous]%*'`@These "powerful pastors" are just mere males with their own opinions, thoughts and rules .... and to think that people put them into a high place of respect that these pastors know that they can say anything to them and expect these people to be obedient or otherwise they are treated as being rebellious. Yes there are those led by the Spirit and guide their flock, but they are few.
The original pastor of Canberra David Fulford would encourage people not to buy their own home, because he ministered that the Lord would be returning soon. (The real reason being he was renting and could not afford his own home). Those that did own their own homes were frowned upon.
While he rented he never bothered about gardening thought it a waste of time.and left it to his wife.  But when he did have his own home built, with the help of his wife's income,     he started gardening and for months after he would be giving talks about gardening (pruning, fruit trees,weeds etc.)
When he told his wife to stop working, he gave a talk about how all of the married sisters that were working were expected to stop working.
When they had pet dogs, he ministered that all families should have pet dogs   NOT CATS ( he hates cats)
These opinions that he ministered about were trivial, compared to the needs of Canberra people , there are many lives that have been ruined because of their lack of true ministry.

Thanks to the Trolls and zealot GRCer's who have dedicated so much time contributing to our forum.  Even though you have never had anything of substance to offer, you always remind us how pathetic a person's life is, who supports Noel Hollins and the GRC Pty Ltd.
Perhaps you should consider a new hobby?   Cheers.
P.S.  No point telling you to get your facts right is there!!!  We psychotics, farmers, unemployed women, glass brick layers, etc. don't claim to be "pastors" either.

For that matter I don't think we'd want anyone of any profession running or controlling our lives. I think the argument is whether anyone, whether they be a sign writer or school teacher, who doesn't have the necessary qualifications and training should be allowed to give council. Such people should be professionals.
It's one thing to have authority over another but another thing to give sound life coaching and advice... dangerous stuff. We are forced to let police and politicians rule over us... and for good reason, but to volountarily allow a brick layer to lord over, enforce a dress code or give council is just ridiculous.

But then again... look what ya get with trained bible folk... I read this on another aimoo site today.
This was a course in bibble college on "biblical counselling", taught by a guy who had just spent several years studying under good old Larry Crabbe in America. We started out by studying the typical secular psychology textbooks, learning about all the different secular viewpoints and psychological models. We were then led through the process of tearing them all to shreds, finding all the holes, all the flaws, and a great emphasis was put on the 'none of them take sin into account' crap. 

The end result, we were taught how to brainwash people. How to break people down to their core in 'counselling sessions' till they were totally exposed and vulnerable, how to reprogram all their core beliefs to be based on g0d and the bibble etc, and how to rebuild them back up into 'good xian people' (was strange seeing the exact process of what was done to us). The classes were all about being aware of a person's psychological thought process and how to totally manipulate it. And it was all done with joy and enthusiasm. 

We had to have weekly 'counselling sessions' from this guy as a condition of our entry into bibble college, and this is the same guy that jumped up in a fit of rage and very nearly punched us out during our second 'session' because we dared to disagree with something he'd said in our first session.

You're referring to Jesus and other bible charaters being 'lowly' carpenters, fishermen etc?

I'd say being the 'son of god' probably over-rides any professional or trade qualifications, wouldnt you? So yes - should we ever meet someone decended from God him/herself (not just self appointed), we would of course listen to them.

The GRC and other religions love to use the fact that Jesus was a carpenter to disuade people from educating themselves or pursuing careers that might encourage questioning or independent thought.

Just remember GRCers and those from the other oppressed assemblies, if your pastor is trying to give you advice on life matters or things that are not spiritual related, imagine the local cleaner at your child's school or the guy that mows your lawns or lays your vinyl, would you ever allow him to control your life and tell you where you can live or whether you are allowed to go away for the weekend. I think the answer would be a big fat NO.

Pastar Morton gave up truck driving many years ago and for about the last 15 years the assembly paid his wage, and paid his house off up in New Cas, Davie Fulford i think was a bit more than a mail sorter, he had a very good job within the Goverment before he left. If you are, you have obviously never suffered at their hands and could possibly be one of them. Whispering funnies in one another's ears or just generally sitting up there like king dicks!Now about their real positions in life which is actually their day jobs outside the assembly where they dont matter, totally disregarded etc. Here is a list of some of the positions held be the Pastors that we have let control our lives down to what we wear to meetings, where we live etc etc.Pastor Wilson- Mows lawnsPastor Griggs- vinyl layer (3 days a week)Pastor Morton- Former truck driverPastor Reed- School cleanerPastor Fulford- Mail sorterPastor Ganly- Vinyl layerR Mcdonald- former brick layer The only thing powerful about these alleged pastors is the bullshit that comes forth and the trance they put the simple flock in.

Yes there are those led by the Spirit and guide their flock, but they are few. The original pastor of Canberra David Fulford would encourage people not to buy their own home, because he ministered that the Lord would be returning soon. (The real reason being he was renting and could not afford his own home). Those that did own their own homes were frowned upon. While he rented he never bothered about gardening thought it a waste of time.and left it to his wife. But when he did have his own home built, with the help of his wife's income, he started gardening and for months after he would be giving talks about gardening (pruning, fruit trees,weeds etc.) When he told his wife to stop working, he gave a talk about how all of the married sisters that were working were expected to stop working. When they had pet dogs, he ministered that all families should have pet dogs NOT CATS ( he hates cats) These opinions that he ministered about were trivial, compared to the needs of Canberra people , there are many lives that have been ruined because of their lack of true ministry.

For that matter I don't think we'd want anyone of any profession running or controlling our lives. I think the argument is whether anyone, whether they be a sign writer or school teacher, who doesn't have the necessary qualifications and training should be allowed to give council. Such people should be professionals. It's one thing to have authority over another but another thing to give sound life coaching and advice... dangerous stuff. We are forced to let police and politicians rule over us... and for good reason, but to volountarily allow a brick layer to lord over, enforce a dress code or give council is just ridiculous. But then again... look what ya get with trained bible folk... I read this on another aimoo site today. This was a course in bibble college on "biblical counselling", taught by a guy who had just spent several years studying under good old Larry Crabbe in America. We started out by studying the typical secular psychology textbooks, learning about all the different secular viewpoints and psychological models. We were then led through the process of tearing them all to shreds, finding all the holes, all the flaws, and a great emphasis was put on the 'none of them take sin into account' crap. The end result, we were taught how to brainwash people. How to break people down to their core in 'counselling sessions' till they were totally exposed and vulnerable, how to reprogram all their core beliefs to be based on g0d and the bibble etc, and how to rebuild them back up into 'good xian people' (was strange seeing the exact process of what was done to us). The classes were all about being aware of a person's psychological thought process and how to totally manipulate it. And it was all done with joy and enthusiasm. You're referring to Jesus and other bible charaters being 'lowly' carpenters, fishermen etc? I'd say being the 'son of god' probably over-rides any professional or trade qualifications, wouldnt you? So yes - should we ever meet someone decended from God him/herself (not just self appointed), we would of course listen to them. The GRC and other religions love to use the fact that Jesus was a carpenter to disuade people from educating themselves or pursuing careers that might encourage questioning or independent thought.
