Date Posted:31/07/2011 7:21 AMCopy HTML How many times have we heard noel say this??????I believe in God and come along as a boy when my parents started atending and now some 30 odd years later still atend with my wife and kids.I believe the Bible and read it and pray daily, But I am starting to wonder about this comment.I know the word does'nt change but the world does. And prices do as well.I work a stable job and get a modest income, Average morgage, Average house, Average Car, Kids go to public school, And camp is always our "Holiday" for the year.I work 5.5-6 days a week and we get through life. Saturday afternoon is family time, As is Sunday morning. The arfternoon is the meeting and so it all starts again. What I am trying to say is I would love to have some spare time!!Work= No spare time! Meetings= No spare time! Public Holiday=Outings=No spare time! Then you say we dont get there for the Choruses.. We are EXHAUSTED!You Say "You dont need big houses, New cars, New things" Have you heard of this one.. "Practise what you Preach!"You drive one of the newest cars in the car park and why do you need such a big car?? You have one of the biggest houses in a top suburb!! (with live in servants)And every time you decide you need another cheap suit you disappear overseas for 4 weeks.Who pays for all this??I do as you say, I have an average house, A 20 odd year old car, And we save all year just to get to camp. Why dont you sell your house in the rits, Buy a unit in Norlane West, Sell the big flash car and get a cheap hatchback and use the hundreds of thousands left over for the overseas work. Because we all know if you dont your atheist son Lenny will end up with the lot.I have tried to talk to you about this before, Knowing that alot of my Brothers and Sisters in the church feel the same way and you have cut me off so I see this as my only means of communicating my thoughts to you as it is common knowledge that Gerry Carey checks this site for you, So this time you may listen. While you are reading this Gerry consider this, Yourself and your wife are lovely people. I dont know why your eldest Daughter bothers coming along because it is clear she does not listen... Full of pride and self praise and always looking down her nose at people. Who does she think she is...? Some sort of try hard yuppy always telling people how wealthy they are, How much money her Husband makes and how smart her kid is. Get over yourself you TRY HARD! Your Son is harmless but even still loves to tell you how good he is, And we are all sick of hearing about the fire brigade. Please enough! Your other daughter seems really sweet and its sad her husband wrecked it for them all. Sunday Nights no new people. It is a shame, But why then do you have to preach to the converted?? Short word, Time of prayer and go home to get some rest like every other assembly. Remember we are tired!! Work, Kids, School, Mortgage, Bills. We dont have puppets living upstairs to do everything for us.My aim is to one day take my family overseas for a holiday and I can tell you now it will be no where near an assembly so we can sleep in and have a rest!! Talking about overseas, How do you pick who to send?? The man that walks around on Sunday with the stupidest smile on his face? Next it will be Brendan Sooticow or Oralio Avietie... Cant be much worse than Steve Mills or Travis Briggy. Gee they have got you fooled! Why not send those Pilling brothers, One is a criminal thug and the other arrogant. Do what you want all week and put on a big smile on sunday and get an all expenses paid trip overseas.Oralio could teach the saints how to get into loads of dept while his wife teaches zumba and has lots of affairs, Brendan can teach them fraud and how not to work, Steve can teach them how he thinks he is so good, Ben can bash them all and abuse them, Adam just wont talk to them and walk away, Travis will get them to work for him and wont pay them and make up a big story to cover it up.Noel I hope you give this some thought.

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:31/07/2011 10:25 AMCopy HTML Sleep deprivation is all part and parcel of brain washing and mind control.
He keeps you so busy with meetings, praying, seeking the Lord morning and night and reading the Bible so that you DON'T have time for a life, so that you DON'T have time to mix with people, saved or otherwise, so that you DON'T question any of his teachings. You aren't following the Lord (I know that you realise that yourself now), you are following a narcissistic, deluded fool. I hope that you can have the life and holiday that you dream of. Life is short, this is it, it isn't a rehearsal. |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:31/07/2011 10:22 PMCopy HTML Reading the Bible and praying are probably the only good advise Noel gives. I took that advise, prayed honestly from my heart, took in what the Bible told me, and got as far away from Noel as I could! I don't believe many in grc carefully pray and read their Bibles with an open mind. If they did they wouldnt be there anymore.
I drove through Norlane West last week and noticed that the 7th Day Adventist church around the corner from GRC HQ is offering free English lessons. Had a laugh to myself thinking around the corner for 1/10th of your earnings you can learn to to speak Babylonian. I think the free English is a better deal! ¡uıɐƃɐ ʎɐqǝ ɯoɹɟ pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ƃuıʎnq ɹǝʌǝu

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:31/07/2011 11:55 PMCopy HTML Its sad I attend the meetings as well and feel the same way. Wondering why I am always sick and run down, Putting money in that bag every week and wondering where it gos? I thought thats why each assembly has a pastor to look after their own flock, Dont ever see him taking off to Adelaide to see how T.A. is giong.. But you would have to be blind not to see the power struggle that is going bon there. T.A. family members dropping like flys. P.A. got his head up his own ass to see the whole picture. Talk about wasting money.. What have we spent on that cooling system? $100,000+++++ And we get told it dosent work very well on hot days!! How dumb is that? If its over 28 degrees I dont bother going its like sitting in a sauna. Noel one day try sitting down with us and see how it is. Rob Sloan does an awsome job and is an expert in the field so leave him to do it and keep all the other wanna be's out of it!! Trevor Napier cant even drum in time yet he wants to run everything. Stick to drum lessons Trev. The world laughs at us, Not because of our beliefs but the HYPOCRISY! Marry a Pastors Daughter and its a get out of jail free card. Cant run a business and rack up heaps of dept and we'll send you overseas to preach the world. Insult people but as long as you smile and tell noel some story you are back looking for glory. We are not a church but a refugee centre for criminals, fraudsters, liars, cheats, and whores! |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:01/08/2011 1:32 AMCopy HTML So glad to be out of there! I also felt sick and run down while attending. Apart from the physical demands on your time, there is the mental strain of belonging to something you know in your heart is not an honest organisation. Also the mental strain of not being able to participate in normal activities in your community, or with your family.

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:03/08/2011 7:17 AMCopy HTML For those of you who are exhausted from attending ALL meetings, praying, reading the Word and trying to survive, take a look around you.
See how the people with money and those closest to Hollins and the heirachy live. They have HOBBIES, they have INTERESTS outside the GRC they do SPORTS and mix FREELY with the unsaved. They go OVERSEAS whenever they want and not necessarily to places that have Assemblies. They DON'T witness to people involved in these hobbies, holiday destinations or pursuits because they know that they will be thought of as freaks, so they live life by a double standard. The GRC way and the REAL life way. They aren't struggling or suffering, they are having a ball. Their life IS good, they can compartmentalise the GRC and the way they want to live and not have an iota of guilt. The conceited muppets think they are the CHOSEN ones. To those of you who are suffering, TAKE A GOOD LOOK AROUND YOU!!!!! DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR SITUATION. |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:09/08/2011 11:12 AMCopy HTML If you want to enjoy life as NORMAL people do, to "work, rest and play" the answer is simple ..... leave the GRC Pty.Ltd.
Sounds so easy but it does have a cost to some and / or their loss of Family, but don't be fooled, tricked or bullied. Nasty Noel and his greasy hanger's-on can't do anything to harm you, you won't go to Hell as they profess nor will you fall into a heap. It is the Spiritual Abuse that is the main problem but there are many of us here to help and support you when those times get tough and it's amazing what a good cuppa and chat can do - you are not alone. Australia IS A FREE COUNTRY and you are free to have what ever you want and you are also free to go without ! Just because you leave the GRC Pty.Ltd. and walk outside those HELL-OWED walls, doesn't mean you walk away from the Lord. Some may have had their Faith tested, some have it renched out of their hearts and now don't believe or don't know, while others love the Lord even more because it is now not poluted by That EVIL,EVIL, DOCTRINE OF THAT EVIL, EVIL little man - and a poor, poor excuse he really is. So leave that Toxic Doctrine and those who 'think' they lord over you.... they don't and you do have a normal life awiating for those who really want it. Life is wonderful . " Those are my principles and if you don"t like them, I do have others"

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:10/08/2011 5:30 AMCopy HTML Reply to motmot Hanging onto resentment is letting someone you despise live rent-free in your head. (Ann Landers) I may be wrong Tom, but sometimes you sound like you are still hanging on to a lot of resentment and bitterness in your heart. Unfortunately that sort of thing can lead to you becoming seriously ill mentally and physically. To be truly free I believe one has to find a way to forgive those who have wronged us. One can rant and rave and vent as much as they want but nothing works as fast and effectively as applying this fundamental teaching of Christ. So any time someone starts bitching about the GRC and claiming it has ruined their life I think the best thing you can do is show them how to seperate themselves from the GRC but most importantly forgiven them. It might just help them live a long happy life free of resentment and unnessacery pain. Anything else tends to just bog people down in bitterness and anger. ======================================== |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:10/08/2011 6:08 AMCopy HTML Hi, Guest.
I totally agree. Bitterness is invariably destructive; it's counter-productive to achieving inner peace and outwards happiness, and it remains a principle form of rebellion against God manifested by those who would otherwise claim to being Christian. Forgiveness is not only key, it's commanded. Blessings, Ian email: didaktikon@gmail.com

I certainly did not want to appear to be judging Tom at all. I was only making an observation on how he seems to come across in many of his posts and I wondered if that may tend to hinder the recovery process for some rather than help. Maybe he doesn't hold any resentment or mean to come across that way. Although his reply to me above also seemed to be somewhat abusive, but again I may be wrong. It is very concerning that you would suggest that you should only forgive those who first show repentance. The bible clearly shows that Christ's forgiveness and compassion was not conditional upon the response of others. As i previously stated, if someone is unable to forgive or if they hold resentment they will suffer tremendously and they probably don't often realise just how much it is affecting them. This has nothing to do with letting the GRC off the hook. It is all about your own well being and happiness. By all means point out the errors of the GRC but in doing so remember you walk a fine line in being caught up in the bitter emotion of it all which is self destructive. My comments were only meant to try and help someone who may be going through a tough time coming out of the GRC and were based on my own experience. Me and my family suffered terribly at the hands of Noel and the GRC for many many years. I am terrified to think of where I would be now if I hadn't embraced the principle of forgiveness because it is the one thing that helped me get through a world of hurt. At the time a pastor told me I would end up a miserable bitter person and I was determined to prove him wrong thank God. Peace! ============================================== |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:12/08/2011 8:15 AMCopy HTML When you are in the GRC,the controll is umbelievable.I personally believed most of what
was said while attending, but sometimes in the back of my mind, there would come a thought. What if they are wrong. It took time for me to heal after leaving the GRC,but now looking in from the outside I can see how manipulative Noel and the pastors really are.Noel knows exactly who to have as pastors, they all have one thing in common. They are all CONTROL FREAKS. |

Well, some former GRC-ers clearly possess skins that are thinner than an onion's! I personally reckon your observation was sound, so don't worry yourself too much that a little of the venom was directed your way for pointing out the obvious. Blessings, Ian email: didaktikon@gmail.com

Anyway doesnt he have a brother that would share any inheritance. |

For those of you who
want to leave the GRC or have just left you now have to decide what to do
next. And what to do with the rest of your life.
Get over it. Sure one day we may blow up the world but it's not just around the corner no matter who tells you other wise. And if it is going to happen tomorrow there is nothing you can do about it so enjoy each day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHnl7jNK6us
The first thing you do
it find a new place to go to. Now make sure that it's Ian the
DICKHEAD approved or he'll will ride you for being wrong! And for
God's sake don't stop believing in GOD! Or you will never ever get to
heaven and get your own Manson with the streets paved with gold and
the pearly gates. Gee, that sound swell. This sort of thing sound
like some sales pitch for a Timeshare in Spain. If you have to sell
heaven that hard it just might be to real to be a true place.
You have to decide what to do with the time you are not at meeting or sing songs, outings. And one big jump is finding what to do on your own. As most the time you spent it with one or another member. And they are not not talking to you.
It's must be hard to spend your childhood with a group of people several times a week and just get cut off from them. Don't forget to keep trying to talk to them as you just might save one in time. But set a good example for them and show your freedom.
Do you find a hobby that was not allowed by your prophet? Do you go to the local park with out an according now or a hymn book and a lawn chair but just to walk around and enjoy the sun? And do you start drinking or going to nude beaches?
One of the best thing about not going to the GRC is that you can do anything that you want! ANYTHING! It's now up to you to live your life and not let someone else live it for you.
And the absolute best
part about leaving the GRC is that you are not going to go to hell
when you die. YAAAAAAA! But there is also no Manson or streets of
gold and pearly gates. Sorry about that part. Good luck in what ever your decide to do |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:18/09/2011 6:37 AMCopy HTML When you leave the GRC and before you find your next religious cult you have this time to reflect on what you want. I know that if you are still in or were in the GRC that god's works were your reason for living. You would eat sleep and preach god every day day in and day out? It was the first thing you thought of and did in the morning. And now I ask is your life more about freedom and you controlling it and not some rule book from thousands of years ago? Some religious cults will have some members be just little god workers. Spending their whole day trying to talk with a god or ringing bells and blowing horns burning incenses. But others just have it as a background rule book that most people don't follow anyway. Maybe on weekends or holidays or some sort of ceremony. But the rest of the time they just act like them godless heathens. But at least it's a good start. But the hypocrisy in being a weekend god warrior preaching one thing and doing another is not what you are meant to be now is it? You are to be just a tool in gods tool box and not have the control over your actions with out asking "What would my god do?" Or "How can I please my god today?" Do you want god to be the all consuming body mind and soul controlling being that will be there for you when you need him.....or not. Do you want your god to be you whole life the reason that you are alive? So how much do you want to have your god in your life? How much is god's will your will? How much do you want to be a puppet? How much of a child are you that you can not stand that though of being free? http://mycatbirdseat.com/2011/09/william-cook-a-review-of-the-wandering-who/<iframe id="HtmlEditor" name="HtmlEditor" class="editor_frame" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" style="width: 728px; height: 373px; overflow: visible; padding: 0pt; margin: 0pt;" hidefocus="" frameborder="0"></iframe> |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:22/09/2011 2:07 AMCopy HTML People might think that some world leaders are god's in human form.
Obama has such a hold on people. They will believe in his "Hope and Change" B.S. as they believe in pearly gates and streets of gold. But what is happening in this worshiping of a person is that he is falling flat and coming up short on his promises. And the only Hope and Change you have is the hope that you have change in your pocket to buy a sandwich. Just like the real Jesus. All talk and no action. Just like his daddy. When you need him the most he's not there. "Help god I'm drowning!" But that's god's will. AAAAaaaaAAaa. But if a boat comes along and saves you that's a MIRACLE! yaaaaaAaaaaAAA. yAAAAAAAaaAAAa Praise god. If it' weren't so hit and miss when it come to god's graces I might start believing in him again. But being in the GRC I must have been believing in the wrong god anyway. But he sure is doing his part in making sure that Jesus lovers also love Israel. If you are brown and a MOOSlim you must die already. So some would have it. We know who god gave that land to and we know that they just get that land back before Jesus comes back. So bring on the nukes and kill the brown people and will give you ever lasting life. Onward Christian Soldiershttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG78M7g9wRo&feature=relatedDon't forget to break everyone of god's top ten list of things not to do when you go and kill and take and nuke brown people. |

Re:Dont be afraid of spare time Date Posted:23/09/2011 9:48 AMCopy HTML There's a post on things to consider that was posted today, I suspect from what you have written you need to feel out where your wife is in all this, as that may be a factor in your decision to leave or not, looking back I would have waited a few more years so not to have been separated from my kids and been told that they don't want to see you ... which was not completely true, and think of all the awful treatment your wife will go through when you get out, ... but staying was something I could not convince myself to do, and then you get told to leave.
Good luck! been there got out of that
