outings. its so so cool to go to parks, public places and shopping centres, sing your loudest in yr bestest voice, hand out papers that tell people they are going to hell, verbally accost them, physically discreetly usher them over to a "quiet place" where personal information can be sneakily forced out of them.peter condos you disgust me.
public shamings. i so much miss being harangued in front of everyone, for such terrible, shameful things as joining a gym, placing my child in kinder, joining a weight loss program, making jokes about not eating all day, saving up for the feast that night (i cant rememember what it was a 21st or somethinG) old pam owen may she rott in hell with her hubby.
child neglect. i think i was one of the first to be told to leave my baby in thre caravan all night, attend the meeting and not check on him. Colin plunkett, i hope you are very very unhappy and miserable.

LMAO once, after we had left, i was walking down ringwood st, and i saw 2 people. i thought very unkindly; "bloody typical, look at those 2, dole bludgers & drug dealers no doubt, I bet they have the latest phones,
a new car, foxtel in every room....OMG! RAY & FIONA !!! " (it loses a bit here cos i cant remember their surname, but they were from Croydon, had a little red headed girl called elizabeth)Warren?

Dean, their surmane was DEAN.

practicing for heaven? cant sorry, too busy being normal

Don't forget the times when young people had to stand up in the marquee if they had nowhere to go on a night when youngies wasn't on and wait for people to choose them. My children often had to do that. I felt really bad for those young people especially when they had to wait for ages for people to pick them. So like school when you are the last one picked for the sports team. Often they wouldn't stand up. Glad they don't have to do that anymore.

If noel doesn't repent from his false gospel he may feel like those kids on the day of judgement!

I hope Noel does feel that.. It really must either Eat him at when he alone or it may be true maybe he doesnt feel guilt..

ladeedaa the Dean's had a son Michael.. And their daughter was Elizabeth. She was put out of fellowship about 8 years ago but let back in for good behaviour..

Oh I don't miss that place At all . The rules the double standard and the dreamtime feeling that we are Right and the Rest of the World is wrong..

What I dont miss is rushing home on a Wednesday and going off to the Cult and then I am proud to say I have reclaimed my Sundays doing whatever I want.. I used To stare out the window on Sundays wondering what everyone else Was doing.. Now I am doing !!

Yep how could I forget ratteling my spoon in my cup for fellowship, I  once got invited in by the big man himself Pastor Hollins, that was the single biggest thrill of my GRC life (even bigger than when I recieved!) ...

Glad i ain't there, and my kids don't have to go through all that

Every time we pass the Hall, my son harps on and on how glad he is that he doesn't go to that hell-hole because of the horrible memories he has of sleeping in that Bl***y sunday school hall and lorded and belted if you made any form of noise.
I feel guilty that I put my children through that. I think that is part of my problem as to why I get so stirred up with this GRC Pty.Ltd.,  that I was party to the abuse.

Don't beat yourself up Motmot. We thought we were doing the right thing at the time. My eldest used to say similar things to me about the assembly hall, and my youngest about the christian school she went to. The sad thing for me is that neither of my kids want anything to do with god now because of the way they have seen his people behave. Assembly was good at lording it over you if you made any "noise", child or adult.

I'm glad no one ever hit my kids, but there was one guy in the assembly who had sexually assaulted kids and was allowed back in. I never let him be alone in a room with kids. No one else seemed to mind. However on one occasion we were at an assembly function. My ex husband was carrying our six month old daughter on a suspension bridge and three young fellas decided to swing it. Hubby almost dropped our child into the river. When he got to the other side, he gave the threee of them a smackin the head. One was a pastor's kid, and one a visitor! Of course the pastor took him to task, but he is 6'6" and quite imposing. He told the pastor to teach his kid to behave properly!

--------------------------------------------------------------
I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. So there.

Reply to Galien ,
My heart fell on the floor when I read about your hubby near dropped your baby off that swing bridge. I would have no doubt done the same to those idiots and then I would have torn into the parents and that bastor too, and even threaten them with police intervention along with DHS. It makes me feel sick to think that anyone could put another life in peril.
I continually teach/preach to my kids,  " Don't ever put yourself in a position where you might be compromised." The consequences of these boof-heads is untenable and must be dealt with before they go too far one day.
I am not as tall as your ex ( I'm vertically challenged) but I am on his side on this one.
