There's way too many puns going on here
You wrote "for crying out loud stop your damned weeping". Wait a minute, if I did that I would be crying rather than weeping. I am confused, so crying out loud is OK but weeping is not OK? How about sobbing. Can I add a little gnashing of teeth? Is lamenting acceptable? Is sackcloth and ashes in or out? If you want rending of clothing, I'd prefer to use scissors, if that's alright with you.
I assumed (hoped) you weren't phsysically sobbing, but the term weeping for me... well, I think that was a bit melodramatic in the first place and paints a picture that I'm someone whose plight in life is so bad that you would metaphorically weep.
I am sorry I also didn't fully explain. I didn't want you or me to be real sheep. It's a simile. Sort of alegorical. I didn't want to pull the wool over your eyes or ram my message home to ewe.
Again, I assumed you didn't want us to become actual lambs, but I did want to further the analogy of sheep being mindless creatures who follow without thinking.
You assume a lot. My lifestyle. My thoughts. I am never impressed about good things, mine or others ....very temporal. We came here with nothing and we will leave with nothing.
Yes, I assume a lot and make asses out or ewe and me. I also agree... we'll probably leave this life with nothing and find nothing.
"If the egg falls on the rock, then the egg will break. If the rock falls on the rock, then the egg will break. But whether the egg falls on the rock, or the rock falls on the egg, it sure ain't gonna be good for the egg."
Is this like GWM's forest analogy?
