My best man was also a former member of the Revival Centres. I thank RCI for introducing me to Christianity, but I haven't prayed in tongues now for 3 years, and my relationship with God has reached a new level. I say this in the humblest way I can. There is definitely life after RCI, and I will start praying for those of you who have had your relationship with God affected in a negative way through some of the doctrines and policies of RCI.God bless. Praise the Lord!  What a great testimony - that salvation is about a RELATIONSHIP with Christ - not about speaking in tongues.  It has been proven on this forum over and over that ANYONE can speak in tongues - it doesn't mean anything.

Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty our sins deserve.  He took our place.  The ONLY thing that saves us is trusting in Jesus' death for us!  From there we grow closer and closer to Him! and more and more like Him!

Thank you so much for sharing!

"THE OBLIGATORY NERVOUS BREAKDOWN"

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this website. And thanks to the Lord for leading me to it. It is four years now since I received the left foot of fellowship from the RCI after nine years putting my heart and soul into the Lord and the fellowship. All for the heinous crime of telling a pastor that he was not treating people the way the Lord would.

Only ex-members would know the grief, pain and break in fellowship with God that these totally misled and cruel people cause by their crappy doctrines. Yes, I had the obligatory nervous breakdown and it has taken me three and a half years to even believe that the Lord still loves me and that I am not evil. Well done to anyone who spreads the warning about this lot.

Before I was baptised they said to me "you have nothing to lose and everything to gain". If only I had known then how much this lot can take away, how they can destroy your faith and steal bits of your soul. Now I have a new church home in CRC, even though some of the Revival people still say "when are you coming back"? "Oh tomorrow" I say NOT!!! Praise God for you and this site. Keep up the good work
