Charity begins at home with the family ..... after you paid your fees ! "take up thy bed and walk" - yeah right ! Just another case of confusing their faith with wisdom, even if the spirit is willing (faith), the flesh isn't ! it can't ,it's flesh ! .... but that con-flicks with GRC Pty.Ltd. doctrine.
I was in hospital once during Xmas camp and Noel ordered that I was not to have visitors ! I did have one who ignored the proclamation and fortunately was not 'found-out'. That was in 1977, Nasty Noel Hollins hasn't changed - has he !

It good that you took your daughter to the hospital, as there is probably no God. Your average testimony on healing in the GRC is "I had a bad cold and was feeling very well but I got prayer and I started to feel better" Prayer is just a placebo at best. Anything serious that led to death is just explained as the "Will of God". Nice when God (or Noel) can get praise whatever happens. Many people in the GRC go to hospital, and good for them. You don't want to be taking risks on some unproven healings. But then they will praise God that the operation etc all went well. Please....

I once heard a tesitmony in the GRC by who said that he had the 24 hour flu, called apon he elders was anointed with oil had prayer and the next day was healed ...
der, if it is a 24 hour flu then naturally you would have been better the next day (24 hours later) even without prayer!
This same person another time in the GRC gave a testimony that he prayed for his budgie and it was healed!

I always remember dear Margarita Stretton, with her wonderful accent and bountiful love of the Lord (God bless her), giving her testimony of how she was sunburnt , came out for prayer, and in 3 days she was healed ! Oh -well , 10 out of 10 for her faith.

Seriously mate, when you place an exclamation mark at the end of every sentence, it dilutes the value of the exclamation mark on the occasions that you really do need to make a point.

I remember someone telling me they went out for prayer for a material need (money was tight), and was prayed for by Ray Mills. Good old Ray prayed thus, "Lord, make this brother every whit whole, etc etc etc..." I asked the person how he felt when he came back to seat. He replied, "I feel absolutely fantastic. But I still haven't got two bob to rub together!"

Many write posts on here and a lot cannot string two words together let alone a sentence, but I would NEVER criticize any of them, I take great joy to hear and see they have found their freedom. So to see someone expose their literary skills by using the common vernacular with exuberance, tells me they have a command of the written word, and that is something which is lacking today in our society. It shows how poorly our education system is performing . Take Kevin Rudd for example, a well educated man , yet sadly, cannot contruct a simple sentence ! Have you every really listened or taken note of him ? ...... He speaks in ' mono-tone' ..... What a Boring Man ! ...... and he is our Prime Minister ! Go Revboy ........ have your say !

If I am correct, from my refrigeration days, means; FREON 12 (R12), which was found to be a cause of the ozone being depleted so it's use was banned of huge quantities in industry. That's a pretty cool supposition....in fact I could say freezer jolly good fellow. You are correct it is in fact Freon 12. But why would the Germans use a short word when a long one could be used?

The camping fee is expensive.
In other churches, campings are optional, not going camping does not make one out of group or backslide.
What they say about the " faith " ?
If anyone cannot go camping due to family or job reason, the family and the job are "testing ", and they should discard the family and the job, and believe God will reward something better to ones who put Him first
