Hello Mr K (sounds a bit like "Special K")
Know why it's OK to visit other churches? Cos we are all one body of believers - we, the people, ARE the church!
It is my (humble) view that the less we see of 'separation' and the more we see of 'integration' or 'good relations' will help us to understand each other. Yes, the different denominations all have their own little 'quirks' (and none are 100% quirkless) but when we see past these differences and just LOVE one another (as we're meant to do) we have a better understanding of our place in the kingdom.

Okay. But what, exactly, is the church?
It is my (humble) view that the less we see of 'separation' and the more we see of 'integration' or 'good relations' will help us to understand each other.
But according to what you stated, above, we (Christian believers, I presume) are already "one body of believers". This being the case, how then, could we not "understand each other"? How then could there be differences in the first place? 
Yes, the different denominations all have their own little 'quirks' (and none are 100% quirkless)...
"Quirkiness"? Does this comment relate to beliefs? Or practices? Or both? And what stage or level of "quirkiness" in a church should cause one to become alarmed? Eh?
...but when we see past these differences and just LOVE one another (as we're meant to do) we have a better understanding of our place in the kingdom.
Hmmm. So "love" is sufficient to see past what are often substantial (and substantive) differences? This being the case, where does the issue of "truth" get a look in? 
Curiouser and curiouser.

Hey Mister K, Love your post and your s to urch....
Me I have visited many churches and denomiations over the last 12 years since leaving revers, and i Love it, i love the differences etc but i love the way we can all fellowship together as we have the same cause and that is to preach Christ and him crucified.
I love the different styles etc that i come across in worship preaching etc and i have learnt that because it is not my flavour dosent make it wrong, i can just enjoy it for where they are at and what God is calling them to do in there part of the body and community.
We ARE all one body just many parts, and i love that and i love the freedom to enjoy that.
Take it easy,as we live in the same city would love to catch up for a coffee some time if that suits .

'Nope', no gossiping undertaken on my part, big fella. I got my information concerning your inclination directly from ol' Frankie. He mentioned that you were a terrible gossip, akin to an old fishwife or something

Ian, re frankie, interesting that comment, i do remember him saying something to me about that, however its all in the eye (or ear) of the beholder and what one percieves what they are hearing, and in truth i actually found the comment quite hurtfull especially after all the time that i had spent with him and listening to ALL his comments/ issues etc, and yea i took it on the chin and made me more aware of what i spoke/talked about. hasnt stopped the hurt though of what i held as a good friendship, but hey we all make choices and try to grow and learn as we go. Please dont read this as a boo hoo as its not meant to be that way, just a bit of heart on sleeve. God bless ya Ian.

Well, I don't know that I agree with you on that score. Gossip is gossip, no matter how one tries to dress it up.

The sharing of issues is one thing, fishing for juicy 'tidbits' another. But at least you appear to have realised the need for being a little more circumspect in how you approach conversation.

I didn't. But it just wouldn't be right for me to pass by the opportunity of quipping, "...build a bridge and get over it!" (meant somewhat tongue-in-cheek. If I was being totally serious I would have said, "...dry your eyes and harden up, princess!")

Well, today I have just had another great service at another denomination!
Also I attended a good course from the Presbyrtarian church in Mitcham, very good ministry about not being a church consumer, but a participant.
Anyone else have some more great experiences?
