Humphry B. Bear is dead. Not really, but someome we all know has past away. He wasn't the actor who played Humphry but he did right the first 7 oringinal Humphry Bear books.
A funeral service was held in Warrnambool on Friday 29/8/'08 conducted by Russel Ivermee who spoke of the life and times of the deceased which was admirable, but, then came the retoric, the ear-bashing and the BI message. ( We all know the feeling ).

Still, the end of an era, Gordon Arnold Rule past away at the age of 81yrs

                             RIP.          Vale  Gordon

                           ***************************************************

Also yet another soul past before us this past week in the same assembly. Danny Reagan died of cancer only a few days ago. A busy week for Warrnambool.

When a relative of mine died it was very sad, He was a  loving soul that simply loved the Lord, , although a separation from some of the family existed due to us being in and  them out of RCI,  the family remained very loving with very strong ties although distant.
At his funeral RCI took over, virtually claiming total ownership of his existence, they spoke RCI talk excluding the family and their relevance in his life or his in theirs. I was so ashamed to be a part of RCI that day. A few RCI people expressed their disgust also quietly to me but would never own up to their disapproval openly. But you know, the pompous pride of those that "Preached" thinking We really gave it to them, I heard them saying wouldn't he be proud knowing the  family heard the "Word" of God. (Almost implying he died for the purpose of finally getting them back into a meeting)
Shame they didn't think to "Minister" to them or "Comfort" them. The only "Word" they heard was Arrogance and Exclusion and neither of those two words having anything to do with God.
