My My,

This really is quite sad, isn't it. What stake does Williams really have in this British Israel nonsense? Is it his fanaticism or is it another way that he can exert his power over over yet another group of people by claiming some sort of racial superiority.

This society's 1st objective is:

"To foster the love of England and to strengthen England and the Commonwealth by spreading the knowledge of English history, traditions and ideals."

I know that Scott always claims that the British Empire was what spread Christianity and civilisation to the world (an argument that I'm sure many would take exception to this) but come on! The celebration of Englishness!?! Even if you subscribe to the British Israel theory, surely you can't justify patting yourself (as a nation) on the back. This would never be tolerated on an individual basis so why on a national basis? Furthermore, I would find it hard to believe that anyone would start a similar society to celebrate the nation of the Israel of the Old Testament. They constantly fell short of God's glory and they constantly transgressed. It seems that British Israelists like to forget the transgressions that Britain has made, over the centuries, and concentrate on a few good points that came out of an essentially dark era.

Anyway, where is Jesus in all of this?

Ha!  no surprise.... may be he still thinks the Queen is coming for tea at PHQ...

.... what are his thoughts on the poor souls of the StAlbans and other English cell groups. What's the stereo-type used these days to describe  "English" members  (lazy/nazi/slanders/evil bastards) or does he view them (and their young men) with a 'glint' in his eye because they are in the chosen country ?

If I remember correctly, Scott hardly had a positive thing to be said about the UK (Scotland in particular, but also England) when he was still about in the 90's.  Australia was just so much  better.... the  super markets, the food, the beaches, (the sun cancer!!) ....

Anyhow - St George really doesn't have anything to do with BI....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_George
he is venerated in plenty non-BI/isrealite countries (evil nations).... ?

It"s never too late to leave. Even if yon"ve been in the Assembly a long time.
