let me tell you: Not everything written in this forum is appropriate or friendly and not everyone posting here is automativally agreeing on everything here or was/is part of everything described.

Nevertheless you'll find more truth on CAI here than by getting "informed" by characters like "Frazer" or the like.
These guys are mainly afraid of loosing their power/money or whatever drives someone partaking of a system like CAI (or Scientology and similar cults). Just like other cult leaders they will tell you ANYTHING to keep you qiet and business thriving.

Just ask yourself some simple questions (and you might want to add the question: how would Jesus have done?)

- do you think it's normal that CAI spends the VAST majority of your tithe to finance itself than giving to the poor?

- do you think it's appropriate that "pastor" Michy is driving a Mercedes 500 Coupé (and apparently another Mertcedes 4WD), (Pastor Larse is modest btw, he just purchased a Mercedes 300 - of your money)...

- that "pastor" Scott flies 1st class everywhere, resides in 5 star hotels, ownes ROLEX watches, lives in a house worth millions of Dollars etc etc of your money, while there are people in your very assembly who can't afford to travel even to the next little "area meeting"?

- do you think it's okay to beat children again and again to "break" them? (ask "Frazer" if you want to know how he treats his kids)

- do you think it's just an error of foolish NSW policemen (AND a judge who certainly had to sign the search warrant) which made them searching the PHQ and other houses, taking all computers etc?

- anyway, do you believe, that, in Christianity, everyone should be treated the same (as Jesus taught it)?

- what might be the reason then, that Scott got away with sexual offence against underaged boys, while an average "assembly" member can be cut off for simply asking questions? (AS many have, after asking just these questions)

Have you been threatened already for asking too many questions? No? Well, keep on asking...

...and there are many question marks to add (maybe someone on this board feels free to do so)

Believe me: I've been part of that group for more than 10 years - being as humbugged and blinded by those religious clowns as you seem to be right now.

It takes the average member about 10 years to wake up and understand the terrible illusion the've been trusting - some are quicker.

Don't get it wrong: this is not about your faith (that's your private sphere and no matter of discussion) but about unscrupulous people, who abuse it for their own lust/power/wallet.
