To George and others who believe some people are wrong in having involved the authorities:

All I'd like to say is:

Martin Luther King: "We will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends!"

I would strongly suggest you get in contact with the police if you have knowledge of crimes, because if you don't it makes you an accessory.....

not too sure what this is about? Why does anything think it was wrong to inform authorities? If the Catholic Church had been allowed to deal with their sex scandals "amongst brethren" we all known what would have happened.

Fact of the matter remains we are subject to the law of the country we choose to live in - if we break the law in that country we must face the consequences. As far as I remember the Bible also tells you to observe the law of the country you live in.

Of course the Bible tells us to observe the law of the country we live in. Apart of this: Everything is coming to the knowledge of GOD. With and WITHOUT involving the secular authorities. This is quite clear.

BUT ... :

Being sexual abused is making shy and closemouthed the concerned because they are feeling ashamed most deeply. Many of them living their whole life with their mortified soul - taking this unspoken secret down to the grave - without any chance to get help of healing their tortured soul before they die.

At latest this clearly justifies the obligation to take the secular authorities involved. Whoever else is able to be an instrument used by GOD if those leaders (so called "christian" leaders) does not do this job with doing the opposite!

GOD will use the secular authorities sometimes as an emergency brake. Rarely to belive for some "Christians" ...

Hope that GOD enables the authorities being able to open the eyes now of the CAI members who remained ...

I think I'm just echoing the points already being made here but...

The CAI ARE NOT BRETHREN!!! They are imposters and letting these false 'brethren' deal with the matter has lead to cover-ups and fall-guys being made of more Godly people who have tried to stand up to the truth. So which brethren should then deal with this? I cannot think of anyone who has the authority.

Hi Jock,

I don't intend to get into an argument with you here. But I don't think people are wrong to get authorities involved. And not sure how you can say I was silent about the CAI corruption, given all I have posted here and all the emails I have sent to the CAI with cc to many others.

Hi George,

I don't want to post your e-mail to me concerning the police - so please don't push me and stop pretending!

Im not sure where you people are from or what the problems are. I will just tell you this. In the assembly I was involved in, four children in a family were sexually assaulted by an assembly member. He was put out for a year then allowed to come back. Those kids were forced to sit in church with him week after week. The church decided not to take it to the authorities.

Six years ago, one of those children took his own life as a direct result of the trauma caused him by the assault and the failure of his parents and the church to do the right thing.

You know what you need to do.

--------------------------------------------------------------
I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. So there.

Hi Jock,

You can always call me if you want to know my opinion right now, not what I wrote a month or two ago. But as I said, I will not discuss my opinion in public - not yet. I have spoken with someone in Coffs who changed my mind since I last wrote to you.

Again I repeat, I do NOT think people are wrong to get the authorities involved. Thats my last word on the matter here. Give me a call if you want.

G.
